About Us

Our Unique Approach

After five years at the Fox Inn, Nigel Mort has decided to pursue new ventures and the pub will once again be run by Ray and his team, who originally purchased the freehold in 2014.
You can expect this much-loved free house to return to being the fun and friendly local that so many people remember and enjoy.

Just as it was when it was considered not only one of the best pubs in Surrey, but unquestionably the best pub at Fox Corner!

Whether you’re joining us for a pint with friends, a family gathering, a community event, or simply a chat at the bar, we look forward to welcoming you.

Over the coming weeks we will keep you updated with details of events, improvements and plans for the future. While the kitchen is not currently operating, we look forward to sharing news on its return in due course.

Ray, Jane, Louis, Dan, Finn and the rest of the team look forward to welcoming back old friends, meeting new ones and wishing Nigel every success for the future.

Wonderful proper pub, as opposed to too many becoming RWD (Restaurant With Bar). When we visited, 5 beers on manual pumps which were all excellent and well kept and available in flights (three 1/3 pints so one can try more variety - a great idea).
