Triple fff Brewery Moondance – new on at The Fox Inn at Fox Corner.
Triple fff Brewery Moondance
One of Triple fff’s original recipes brewed since 1997, a pale ale with copious amounts of American Cascade hops. Wonderfully aromatic floral nose balanced by a gentle bitterness with a hint of sweetness. No wonder this beer has won the most awards of all the beers in their range.

Triple fff Brewery
The brewery was launched in 1997 by Graham Trott, a cabinet maker by trade who was a keen home brewer. The most popular question they are asked is ‘What is Triple fff?’. As many of you know all their beers (Alton’s Pride aside) are either song or album titles. Triple fff in music stands for fortississimo and means very very loud.
The beer names came from song titles of many of the 60’s rock icons, Van Morrison, Led Zeppelin and Cream with Moondance (4.2% ABV), Stairway (4.6% ABV) and the well loved Pressed Rat and Warthog (3.8% ABV).
The psychedelic 60’s did not spawn a song called Alton Pride (3.8% ABV) but that joined the lyrical portfolio and is their number one seller following its success at 2008’s Great British Beer Festival having been voted Supreme Champion Beer of Britain.
