Bowman Ales Wallops Wood – new on today at The Fox Inn at Fox Corner.
A light chestnut in colour which puts it into the ‘brown beer’ category. As far as flavour goes, it tends rather more towards the malt than the hops, though there is a pleasing hop taste right at the finish. The aroma is light and pleasant.

Bowman Ales would like to reiterate their enduring thanks to all the people that helped them set up the brewery in Droxford. So to all of you that supplied your expertise, manpower, advice, pieces of plant and equipment and in one case, finance, they give you a hearty and heartfelt “THANK YOU!”
At present there are six people working at the brewery – Stuart who deals with the deliveries, Richard who deals with the cleaning and filling of casks, Andrew who is their part time sales chap and in the office, there’s Julia AKA Fuzzy, who doubles as Droxford’s famous lollipop lady. She keeps all the paperwork in good order which is a good thing because this was a weakness! The Bowman family is of course completed by Ray and Martin.
