Adnams Ghost Ship Session IPA – A new IPA from Southwold.

Adnams Ghost Ship Session IPA is a refreshing, citrus-forward beer brewed in Southwold, Suffolk. It captures the spirit of coastal tales and easy-drinking charm. Designed as a lighter sibling to the original Ghost Ship Pale Ale, this session IPA delivers bold flavor at a modest ABV. This makes it ideal for long afternoons or casual gatherings.

The beer pours a pale golden hue with a gentle haze and a soft, foamy head. On the nose, it offers vibrant aromas of lemon, lime, and subtle orange zest. This is thanks to a blend of UK and US hops including Admiral, Centennial, and Amarillo. The taste follows suit with crisp citrus notes layered over a backbone of pale ale malt, wheat, and oats. These lend a smooth mouthfeel and satisfying body despite its low alcohol content.

Ghost Ship Session IPA is brewed to be “crushable” – a term that perfectly describes its drinkability. It’s ideal for those who enjoy the hop-forward character of an IPA but prefer a more sessionable strength. Whether you’re relaxing by the sea or reminiscing about ghostly legends in a cozy pub, this beer offers a flavorful escape without overwhelming the palate.

ABV 3.4%
