Founded in 2003 Downton Brewery is a well established microbrewery. They have a reputation for consistent quality beers in a wide range of styles.
Their philosophy is to utilise the best ingredients creating a variety of styles to delight every drinker. Downton uses English malts and exciting hop varieties from around the World. These are blended and experimented with in a range of regulars and one-off specials alike. As well as award-winning session bitters, their hop forward APAs, Imperial Stout and IPA and speciality ales ensure there is plenty of choice all year round.
They pride themselves on being adaptable and versatile in their brewing and in running events. Furthermore, they are lucky to have a friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated team, passionate about beer and providing the best service to all customers.
At the same time as launching a striking new rebrand, Downton Dream was also added to their regular range. Thus proving that they do occasionally cave in to popular demand!

Since Downton first opened their doors 20 years ago they’ve combined the best ingredients with a whole lot of passion and hard work to brew consistent quality beers in a range of styles. Interestingly, they use both English malts and exciting hop varieties from around the world to create beers for every taste: from award-winning favourites like New Forest Ale, Quadhop and Honey Blonde to their 0.5% Secret Sobriety, one-off specials, APAs, Imperial Stout and IPAs. There is something for everyone, all year round, including the designated driver!
As well as brewing our beers to supply pubs in London and across five southern counties, our friendly and passionate team loves working at both public and private events throughout the year.
