Brains Reverend James ales are named in honour of the Reverend James Buckley saver of souls and satisfier of thirsts.

Based on a recipe from 1885 and brewed in honour of the legendary Reverend James Buckley who took over the Llanelli brewery in 1824 The Rev. James Original has a mellow malty flavour that unexpectedly gives way to a clean, refreshing finish.
